6:51!!!!! I was certain that I was not going to make my goal. Especially when I turned the corner at the 3/4 mark and got hit in the face with a 20 mph wind. but not only was my gun time 6:59(that's gun to finish), my chip time was 6:51(that's start line to finish line). It took me 8 seconds to cross the start line after the gun went off.. That's 57 seconds faster than my mile in this race last year. Not bad for an old white guy. I can't phucking believe it.
