Quest of the XBox 360: God Strikes Back
It was a beautiful sunny day in Hawaii, and i rode my bike to pick up my Xbox 360 at gamestop (and suffering seperation anxiety as i relinquished my guitar hero controllers (PS2) too them for a trade in value. I was leaving the mall, and walked out side and guess what? Pouring rain and heavy wind. Figures I thought to myself. I didn't want my XBox getting wet, so i tucked my sweater around the box inside the double gigantic bag Gamestop gave me. Rain continued as i waited at the bus stop. When it finally died, I decided to move to where there would be a higher chance of a bus coming by (route overlaps). The other bus was a head of me. Seeing the traffic and the red lights, I suffered the pain that was plastic bags cutting off the circulation to my hand and slid my bike down to a bus stop. Bus passes right by me. SON OF A BITCH! I huffed it as fast as i could (hand turning purple from circulation cut off) to the next stop before the bus could get there, where there were more people. Finally, the bus stops and oi load my bike on and grab my 360.
I finally get home and begin to unpackage the box. Scared shitless of the fact my Xbox might have the Red ring of death, I follow the instructions EXACTLY as they say (I know how to set up consoles very well, but i don't want to risk shit). THe thought of having to send in my xbox and wait weeks if not months to use it again sent shivers down my arms as i plugged in the HD cables to the back of my TV. Moment of truth I though to myself. I hit the power button and....
TADAA!!!! It works, without a hitch! all day! I am set with my new Xbox and New Gamertag (because XBL lost the info on my old one, thus not letting me retrieve it and still saying it is taken). I lost my friends list, but i'm looking forward to pair up with all of you! A good day it is!
