Yeah, I got just about all of their stuff last week and listened through. Really liked some of it, didn't really care for a bunch of it (a lot of their later stuff), but overall pretty solid group.
Yesterday we talked about logical positivism and the logical pattern for confirmation. It was that "raven" problem: P1: All ravens are black. P2: We have just found Robby a black raven. C: So, the hypothesis that ‘All ravens are black” is better confirmed than prior to the discovery of Robby.
Tomorrow we talk about Goodman's Grue problem. I'm looking over the lecture notes and I'm already lost. His lectures are amazing, but the reading is pretty complex. :(
