Well, I can add another literary agent to my shit list. Eleanor Wood of the Spectrum Literary Agency. Fucking old bitch rejected my book. All I got was another lame ass fucking generic rejection letter, a blatant mass produced photo copy. That tells me she didnt even read the sample chapters I submittied, just glanced over the fucking cover letter, didnt see MB in english or some other colege shit, and just tossed my work aside. You know, I seriously hope someone puts these elitest pricks in their place. I mean, going to college doesnt make someone a better writer. Its all talent, and talent cant be taught no matter how many years you waste in a lecture hall feeling all superior because you forked out close 50 thousand dollars for 4 extra years of highschool. Thats all college is, high school, except people are MORE drunk and youre paying to waste your time to study extra crap, most of which you wont use unless youre going in for genetics or physics or a field of science or medicine, in which case college is a MUST, But, seriously, rejecting me because I didnt go to college for English? WTF? how much bullshit is that? How the hell do you study english? What? You have to read all these old book written decades if not centuries ago by old fucks now long since dead and study how they wrote? Is that supposed to bestow writing talent upon someone? Is it some mystical channeling spell that calls forth the spirit of those old "masters" and makes people instant expert writers because they studied them for 4 years and got some piece of paper with a fancy latin title on it? Bullshit. And if thats how these agents are thinking, then they are complete and total assholes. |
