An Open Letter to All Who Treasured Monty Oum -... https://t.co/dLlhiS3k0a

(Keep in mind that you can use a handy translation guide to see whom Shane Newville is referring to in his letter: CEO = Matt Hullum; Director = Kerry Shawcross; Co-Directors = Gray G. Haddock, Miles Luna; Supervising Producer = Gray G. Haddock; Producer = Koen Wooten; Executive Producers = Burnie Burns, Matt Hullum; Technical Director = Jeff Yohn)
As I obviously do not have more information on this topic, I'm not really going to comment on the whole subject other than that if Shane's allegations against Rooster Teeth regarding the treatment of Monty's legacy (as well as Sheena Oum) is true, and his (implicit) argument that Monty's legacy lies in Monty's work, and Monty's workflow is an important part of Monty's work is true, then it seems that Rooster Teeth really has done something terrible.
Of course, the issue of whether Rooster Teeth did something terrible, and whether Shane Newville's open letter was unprofessional, are two separate issues. The truth value of the former and the truth value of the latter are not tied (though one might argue that if Rooster Teeth did not do something terrible, then Shane Newville's letter is false, and therefore unprofessional, or something to that degree, but it certainly, of course, could be true that both Rooster Teeth did something terrible and that Shane Newville's letter was unprofessional). And of course, whether Shane Newville's open letter was morally permissible is yet another question altogether.
Personally, I am glad that I have been able to read his ideas on the topic, regardless.
I think it is important, as a fan of Monty and his work, to at least pass the letter on, and make it public knowledge that this letter exists to all fans of Monty Oum, RWBY, and (perhaps) Rooster Teeth.
