Well I have to say I expected the Mother/Daughter reunion in chapter 4 to be a lot more turbulent, but if there is one thing that the writers of this show do best, is throw a curve-ball, like when Ghira addressed the people of Menagerie, concerning his plan to aid Mistral and prevent Adam Taurus from asserting his dominance over Remnant, I genuinely thought that he was going wind up being assassinated or lynch mobbed. However I fear Adam Taurus may have something worse in store for the Belladonna Family, I just hope it's not going to be like the Red Wedding.
To be honest, the prediction I made of Weiss and Raven crossing paths was indeed a blind stab and I did not expect to hit the nail on the head with that one. Obviously what Weiss and Yang have failed to realize is that they are right where they need to be.Yet here's the catch, if Salem discovers that Ozpin is still alive, what will happen to Cinder? Will she have a target marked on her back as well? If so, Cinder maybe forced to change sides, mostly out of fear, not just because of Ruby's abilities, but also for fear of what Salem would do unto her.
Who knows? With the Summer and Winter Maidens on her side as well as Vernal, she may stand a better chance of survival. Plus I feel like Cinder is starting to have second thoughts about the company she's keeping now, but hopefully with Vernal and the other two maidens under her wing she'll be fine. Plus I hope she does take steps into forging an alliance with Team RWBY too. Think about it, the eight of them can paint their nails, try on new clothes and cosmetics, talk about... well, I highly doubt they would want to talk about boys, unless they want to talk about how goofy and inept we all are (especially me), then fair enough I suppose.
Though I'd like to think that they would converse about something more meaningful instead like health and fitness, cooking, literature, horticulture, economics, interior decorating, their various tastes in music (I'd like to think Weiss and Blake are Metal-heads behind closed doors, whilst Yang and Ruby are probably lovers for classical music, whereas Cinder and Vernal probably like to drop some rhymes and beats), their favourite holiday destination or starting a sports team. Personally, I don't have the slightest clue as to what goes on inside a woman's mind. But then again, what would you expect from a testosterone fueled moronic and pathetic excuse for an accidentally conceived human being like myself? Anyways let's get back on track, so far RWBY has gone from strength to strength in my eyes. Each episode continues to bring me more excitement and also fear too, but then given the events in Volume 3, worst fears are rather mandatory at this point, but so is the hope that they don't come to fruition.
Still great work as always so far Cast and Crew! Keep it up and here's to Chapter 5! May Donut smile upon you always!
