Sooooo first things first, a slight follow up to this post -- I have short hair now (pics to come whenever I remember to take one/some) BUT I wasn't able to donate it like I had initially planned. In spite of my best intentions, my hair had too much damage and would have likely been tossed for being unusable. Brief note to anyone out of the loop and wondering: damaged hair tends to not hold up well under the wig-making process, that tends to be why hair donation organizations have stricter guidelines regarding dyed or chemically treated hair because the durability is compromised, though in my case it was heat damage and split ends. SO, as an alternative to that, once my finances recover from the holidays I plan to make a monetary donation to Wigs For Kids.
Next, my holiday shopping is pretty much DONE! I may have a few gift cards left to buy, but that's it.
And last, but not least, I'm working on a hand-made card for my RT Card Exchange recipient. I'm not the greatest artist by any stretch of imagination, but I had a cute idea based on the little tidbits they shared about themselves and I knew it would have to be a custom job. Hopefully they like it!
Aaaaaand that's pretty much it at the moment. How's everyone else doing?
