Try once more.
Ugh, the previous treatment was not effective enough. Right now I'm getting a chemo to 'buy time' so to speak while we get the clearance to try a non FDA approved drug. I'll be doing some good there because companies trying to develop new drugs need trials, successful or not, to gather data and help with approval or development. Should be starting that in a few weeks. It'll be an IV drip once a week, I'll come out to Omaha to get it and then go home, so at least I won't be stuck out here. We are still hopeful, anything can happen when dealing with a disease like this. It's just hard to keep motivated when you are constantly slapped back to square one. So nothing very eventful for the next few weeks until we try the new stuff it seems. Meow. |
