I did something out of boredomAfter I got my working papers turned in, I decided to ride around on my bike. Next thing I knew, I was outside the gate of the Airbase in the falls.
Yes, to the falls, on my bike!
It was crazy, but really good exercise.
I just had to tell about it.
Disclaimer: If you decide to go to the base on a bike, make sure you know someone on the inside and have them call the gate guards to let them know that you'll be going through. And wear a helmet, I didn't and apparently you have to on base, according to my old man's boss. It's the D.O.D.'s rule (Dept of Defense), I didn't know it, my dad "forgot" it.
Overall, it was a crazy bike ride.
And I was on the boulevard, and I passed 2 semis. They were so close that I could feel the heat from the tires as they passed.
Other than the nerve-racking vehicles, it was okay.
Please don't do it.
