BCM: Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Bacon MapleAle.... sorry ran out of room in the title. Seriously, is that there so people don't write their journals in the title or something?
Tagline: "Ale brewed with natural flavors." (Yeah the title pretty much says it all. Normally I try to avoid any beer that says it is "flavored" but it was a gift. But seriously, avoid any beer that says it is flavored, had a lot of bad experiences.) Alc/Vol: *doesn't say*

Smell: Like maple syrup and vanilla extract had a baby. Very very sweet smelling.
Taste: Here we go... Like smoked sugar. Very interesting. Yeah, it is almost a perfect combination of those two flavors. It first hits a little sweet, then very smokey, then you can pick out a little sweet, then the aftertaste is that coarse burnt flavor, but you still get flashes of maple. It is hard to describe, like the beer has a very bad case of bi-polar disorder. All in all, fun to try, but a little out there for a regular drinker. Though that shouldn't be a problem because I don't think this is going to be one of their regulars.
