I laugh at clueless people here
I don't know about anyone else but I love when people give me information one day and the very next day they can't decide whether that particular bit of info was correct or not. I was told yesterday that we are going to be out of pipe as of tomorrow due to this issue:
One of our pipe providers is Fort Worth Pipe, and they receive their pipe by train. Once the train arrives they have their nifty little device that offloads the pipe from the train onto either A) the trucks or B) the holding racks. After that step it is sent to us to inspect, if it inspects clean EOG buys it, if not it is sent to be repaired. Well the issue comes in that their nifty little device is so nifty that when it has one part break on it that part takes 4 days to be replaced.
So right now there is a train full of pipe sitting at Ft. Worth Pipe yard just waiting for a little piece to come so they can unload it all. That information I got straight from the yard manager that we have at our yard on the property over there so I know that is the true information. That was also backed up by the forklift driver over in our yard here who talks to them for obvious reasons.
We happened to have 4 truckloads of pipe come into our yard today and my secretary goes to believe that the train must be in the process of unloading and the trucks will be streaming in all day. Needless to say my workers started to get a little more excited when they heard that the pipe was starting to roll in, and then were wondering why no more rolled in today. So I had to be the one to crush their spirits and tell them the true story. Which not to my surprise they were shocked.
Anyway, the pipe should be rolling into our yard either tomorrow or Thursday at the latest and from what I've heard it is going to be a good amount of pipe, which will definitely help. More to come later. Hope, love, and thread Dope. (lol)
