Huh.

So, Apparently I passed my 5 year RVB anniversary this week.
I don't know why, but something about that seems really strange to me.
I've been on this website for almost exactly 25% of my life.
That's just wierd.
The momentous half decade passes, I'm no longer a sponsor and I've been pretty inactive for the last few months.

Then again, I haven't really been that active on here since I stopped RPing about three years ago.
oh well.
See you in another five years!

EDIT:
Disclosure.
Two new chapters.
Soon.
Promise.

Having followed them most of the way, their real effort was mostly physical quality of the material itself. They worked with very high end equipment to not only make visually transforming video effects, but high end audio practically compatible with every system currently in use.
Plus, one had a heart condition which often interrupted the pace, and was one of the reasons they split it into two parts back last year. Then when they came "back to life" in June, they revealed one had become a father & another became a full time teacher in 3D animation and rendering, forcing them to cancel the second part. But there was a long gap of spare time for them both that aloowed them to return to the second part and finish the project as a full feature length as intended. So it was more like 5 years of effort with a year unable to continue.

What I take into account is finding voice actors is awfully difficult (It's certainly the hardest task we've got on our project), especially back in those days when they were gathering the essential assets amonst puppeteering & filming. It's only been in the last 2-3 of years that voice actors for machinimations became more openly available and easier to locate, or at least have time to spare to accept requests.

But to call it the best machinima in the history of mankind is definitely an overstatement. It's one of the greatest I've seen in my time, but that regards it's cinematographic setup & editing quality, and has plenty of high action that'll leave any action junkie thoroughly satisfied. If it's story and character one looks for, there are many that better it.

It's been their style. They did the same in their old Battlefield: Vietnam feature length "The Fallen One". Of course 6 years ago, using dialogue from your favourite choices of films or video games for serious purposes was more accepted back then. These days it's rare to find it's use for anything else other than comedy as copyright allows content to be used in "a parodic manner" and people on the net want a laugh, not all that serious stuff. But that's been the magic of the classic machinimations. Making use of what little you have to make something remarkable.

The only actual flaw that I felt it caused in Sands of Fire was unless you followed it very closely, identifying any individual character was very difficult.

No trouble at all, although I'll have to cut the conversation short, at least for tonight, as it's getting a bit late and I have some things to do in the morrow, but I'll happily pick it up again at another time.

Witchcraft? Please, it's merely mad-science.

Your icon caught my eye on Myshu's page.

Yeah, facebook isn't the same animal as old-school chatrooms, or even IM's. Doesn't have the same feel of socializing... as ironic as that is to say on the internet.
