A Little Snip Here
As you may have noticed, I've been a little inactive the past couple of weeks. The Tuesday following Thanksgiving, I went in for surgery to have two sebaceous cysts removed from under my chin. They popped up a few months ago for God knows why and even though they were rarely inflamed, they annoyed the shit out of me. I decided that it was also a good time to have a BB removed from my elbow that I've had in there for about four or five years. Originally, when I was shot through the elbow in a 'house war' that I had partaken in with a few fraternity brothers, the BB was right next to my bone and the ER surgeon refused to operate to remove it. Over these few short years, my body had begun expelling the foreign matter pushing it to my skin. Since I was going under the knife already, this was an easy additional procedure. After surgery, I was given a prescription to Percocet (oxycodone/paracetamol) and sent on my merry way. Pain pills have a way of making one not give a fuck about anything else, so I would just lay in bed all day after getting home from work watching shows or reading. Fucking boring, eh? So, there's the reason for the brief absence. On a related note, the Tuesday I went in for surgery, my dog had to be put to sleep due to lung cancer.
