Semester 1 Complete + Games
I finished the first semester of my second year. I have received most of my results so far and I'm sure I passed. I did well considering I was doing assignments up until the day of my exam so I had very little time to study.

I played Portal 2 a while ago as well and it is yet another great game with great humor. It's better and a bigger game then the first one.

I have been playing L.A. Noire and I think it's a superb game. Rockstar make very good open world games and I'm glad Team Bondi did something a little different by having you play as a good detective. It's a different kind of game which is appreciated. Investigating crime scenes, interviewing witnesses and interrogating suspects is a challenge but is very rewarding when you get it right. I got this on PS3 so I don't have to change discs. It all fits on one blu-ray and I would highly recommend it.

I have also been playing Torchlight on XBLA since it went on special. It's a familiar kind of action RPG that is easy to just pick up and play. When you exit it saves exactly where you were, A cool feature is that you don't have to travel back to town to sell the useless items you have gathered, you can give them to your pet and send him to town. You won't have your pet to back you up in fights for 2 minutes but it's very handy. There is also a lot of customization in the way you play. For a while I was using a pistol in one hand and a sword in the other. This allowed me to shoot for as long as possible then automatically change to melee when an enemy got close. You can use 2 of any 1 handed weapon; Pistols, magic wands, swords etc. You can also have a shield instead of a second weapon. This is a great XBLA game and is worth at least downloading the trial.

I have also got back into Borderlands. It is still awesome and I don't think there is anything like it. It's probably one of my favorite games ever. The Game of the Year edition has all of the DLC and is really cheap. If you missed it and you like shooters and RPGs, get it.
