What a Long Strange Trip it has Been
Where to begin. 6 years I have been a member of this sight. A lot has changed. I'm 27 today and looking back 21 was a very strange time in my life. Its amazing how naive I was. Like everyone I'd like to think I've become a good person, but that simply may or may not be true. God knows I have my share of "demons" but at this point I realize that is every much a part of who I am as the good. Life is not black and white, good or bad, or whatever cliche you prefer. I'm every bit a terrible person as I am a good one and I am fine with that. Its much more interesting that way.

3 years shy of 30 and I finally discovered what I am doing with my life. Barring any unforeseen circumstances I will be entering in my city fire department in November. Currently finishing up my emt now and will be a paramedic in the next 2 years. Its nice to finally have meaning. Although its ironic after all this time moving on from bartending to my career will be a paycut. At least I'll finally be part of something that matters. I never would have seen this coming when I made my first posts on this sight. Good times ahead and good times have passed. Happy birthday to me.
