Fire, Walk With Me
Ever since I saw Twin Peaks for the first time I wanted to see forests in the North West, near the Canadian border. While in Vancouver earlier this week I was lazily staring at the mountains and sitting in my car, and I realized I wanted to go to the top of more mountains.
On the way to the trail head of Mt. Si you pass the Double R diner where a lot of famous scenes from Twin Peaks were shot. It is now called "Twete's" but they still claim to serve Twin Peaks cherry pie on a giant sign.
I started thinking about how cool it would be if someone made a Twin Peaks video game right now. It could be like , "
Twin Peaks: Search for the Black Lodge"
Then I remembered Alan Wake is in the same kind of setting, so I'm just hoping that it will be a sufficiently creepy game for me.
I love being on the mountains out here, it makes me feel really alive. I hope to get some rock climbing in before E3, the first week of June.
