Primeval Whirl is Cursed
To anyone who hasn't seen it on the news, yesterday at Dinoland in Animal Kingdom, one of the maintenance cast members was hit by a car on the track during a test run and fell off the track. He was airlifted to a nearby hospital and died a little later.
That's the second death related to that ride.
And they want to train me on it when it opens back up.
It's cursed. My hope, as well as the hope of everyone else I work with, is that they just tear down the ride once and for all. It's just bad mojo all around. People get hurt too easily on it and this is just fucked up.
Someone is now out of a father, a brother, a son, a friend. All because of that ride. It's dangerous.
Please, keep his family in your thoughts. This is a hard time for them, especially because of all of the publicity given to it since it happened at Disneyworld. Practically everyone at work today was in a bad mood and several people had to go home early because of the stress this has caused.
His family needs this support right now.
