I don't keep a journal
I just randomly come back to add Mitch Hedberg jokes.
- I went to a club last night and the bouncer yelled at me and said I was blocking a fire exit. As if there were a fire I would not move. If you are flamable and have legs you can never be blocking a fire exit.
- Alcohol is a disease, but its the only disease that you can be yelled at for having. Damnit, Otto, you're a drunk! Damnit, Otto, you have Lupis. One of these doesn't belong.
- I went to the store to buy a candle holder, but they were out. So I bought a cake.
- So I finally made it in comedy and now people want me to write scripts and act. They want me to do things related to comedy, but not the actual thing. Its like you work your ass off at being a chef and you finally become a great chef. Then you go to get a job and the guy says, so... can you farm?
- I wrote a script the other day and the guy loved it. But he wanted me to do a re-write. I said F that, I'll just make a copy.
- I used to live in an apartment and play my music really loud. But my neighbor would pound on the wall to make me stop. But I liked listening to my music loud, so when he pounded, I would mess with him. I'd say "Go around. There is no door there. Perhaps there is a handle on your side, but over here it is just flat. I cannot let you in."
- I never got good at golf. I never got a hole in one. But I did hit a guy, and that's way more satisfying. You're supposed to yell "Fore!" if the ball gets close to someone, but I was too busy mumbling "No way is that gonna hit him."
