28 year-old male from Austin, TX Hello everyone. I am currently a college student in Louisiana, but I am originally from Austin, Texas. I plan on moving back as soon as I possibly can. I love photography, painting, kendo, mahjong, Halo 3, anime, machinima, and traveling. I have been to several countries around the world and plan on seeing more. I love meeting new people, and am looking forward to the future ahead. | Latest Post | |

Sorry...I have been "jet-setting" Sorry ladies and gentleman, I have been quite busy lately and yes, I am aware that it is no excuse. Finals are over and I have taken a break from life recently, but now I am back and revitalized.
I just got back from my hometown in Austin. My father had some unfortunate heart surgery but thankfully he has made an excellent recovery. Now let me give the “behind-the-scenes†knowledge.
My father, the one man in my life I have always been able to look towards for sound advice, compassion, and undying love, found himself in a life-threatening situation where he could have died quickly and painfully if anything were to go wrong. As the eldest son, I got into my car and drove 452 miles to see my dad just in case. I was expecting my brother and my mother to be at the hospital when I got there. Both of them had LAME excuses why they couldn’t show up. My brother couldn’t find a ride, and my mother “didnâ™t feel like it.â€
WHAT THE FUCK!
Don’t they realize that the man could have died?! I know my mom and dad are not exactly together right now, but they shared 27 years of their life together, she should have been there. My brother, could have walked to the bus stop and got his ass there for 50 fucking cents, he should have been there.
I was able to drop what was going on in my world and drive all the way down from Louisiana to be there for him. He spent his life working hard to keep a roof over my family’s head, it was the least I could do for him.
To top this off, my mother wouldn’t even come outside of her home to see me when I stopped by with my brother. I am on the brink of completely shutting her out of my life. I love my mom, but if she wants to stop communicating with me than that is it.
Other than the family drama, my time is Austin was nice. I spent a lot of quality time with my good friends.
