Thirteen years. Thirteen years! It's been thirteen goddamn years and we all still love these people so much. And to show our love, a bunch of events have been put together across the community- scratch that, across the world! And we were glad to have been a part of it.
As I'm sure you've heard me talking about over the past month, A new group, Rooster Teeth International Community Day, was formed for the sole purpose of bringing together all the fans on Rooster Teeth's anniversary for a bunch of fun, silliness, excitement, and general enjoyment. So of course, we chipped in our fair share and brought you some great events this weekend. Later this afternoon starting at 6 PM EST, we will be hosting a game night on Xbox One featuring Minecraft, GTA V, and Halo 5. Then tomorrow, we have our RT anniversary meet up in Orlando at Firkin and Kegler by Waterford. You can see more on our events page here. If you haven't been to any of our meet ups before, they're a blast, people have fun, and we only sometimes break stuff. But we always have fun. We're looking forward to seeing old faces, and new. And whether you've been to all our events, or not a single one, we'll welcome you with open arms, because that's what this community is about. That's what this entire weekend is about. Celebrating the company as a whole, who they are- come and gone, the work they've done, and you, the fans, who love them because of all of these reasons plus more!
Look forward to seeing you out there this weekend, and I want to give a big thank you to Tasha from RT Maine for helping starting RTICD. The community groups may of come together to make it happen, but without Tasha's view, her desire to see this happen, I don't think we would've gotten this far without her. Cheers!
Have a great weekend, guys. Oh, and happy birthday, Rooster Teeth!
With love, from RT Florida
