I'm Back, although I never really left. Hey everybody. I'm just posting a new journal entry to try and get everybody to go to my website, Partners In Crime Studios and sign up at our forum! It's not very big but I really wish it was. Project Legacy is over, and it was quite a blast to make. Work on our next project is going smoothly, and we hope to release as soon as it's finished... which could take a while, it's really complex and will require scores of halo 2 mods for just a single episode! Oh well, the work gives me something to do!
I've also wanted to tell you about a WICKED awesome board game called Zombies!!! The original is absolutely awesome and fun! You fight your way through the zombie hoard to try and reach the helipad.
The original includes 100 zombies and awesome, very detailed event cards and map tiles including "Hey look, a shotgun!" and "We're Screwed!".
However, the first expansion pack, Zombies!!! 2 Zombie Corps(e) rather disappointed me. It involves adding new event cards (all of which are pretty awesome, in both events and details) as well as new map tiles (which take you into an overrun army base) and six Glow-in-The-Dark "goverment enhanced" zombies. Unfortunately, the map tiles suck. They have no where the wicked awesome artwork that made me fall in love with the game. The new maps included crayon-drawing styled images of streets, military buildings and maybe a few crashed trucks and jeeps. This is in stark contrast to the blood, gore and violent looking wreckage which made the original game so much fun.
Anyway, I'm not quite sure how game play is affected, as I haven't gotten a chance to play it yet. But I'm fairly certain that while the new map tiles look really plain and not cool, gameplay will still be fun and awesome. Maybe I'll make a new journal entry when I finally get to play it.
