Mass Effect 3
Man I played through ME 1 what seems like forever ago. Got to the end and said "Hm that was pretty good". Then I started it all over again. This time actually knowing what to do and taking more time to do side missions. That's when I realized this game was pretty great.

When ME 2 came out I had not been with my Xbox so I started and finished the game wi no previous save. Amazing. Then when I returned to my trusty Xbox I played it again with a save. Way more amazing. Things happened that we're related to the seemingly most minuscule events in ME1 that I still remembered making a decision in. As with most people that year this was by far my game of the year.
