Going back...
So I've gone back to old games, like Golden Sun and Golden Sun The Lost Ages; Golden Suns sequel. Out of all the years I've played games I was only frustrated (as a child) by a few. The first game Was Banjo Kazooie which came out on the Nintendo 64 by Rare. Because I was young I never really understood it so I gave up on it (Realizing what I was frustrated about years ago was really simple.) That game being my first game and making me so confused and angry made it my number 1 favorite game, for I wish to go back to it. Which make's it a good game (to me) if it's something that I give up on and want to go back to. The Game I resently finished Golden Sun was another game like that, because it was so frustrating with its puzzles. When I found it I felt like playing it figuring out I was only stuck because I got West and East missed up, Beating it added a large amount of satisfaction I instantly wanted to play Golden Sun The Lost Ages. While playing it I realized I did not have the same connection as I did with Golden Sun. Where you the main character goes of on an adventure I felt like he was young and by the end of the game he was older, not by a lot but by a few years. Making me feel like this adventure was long and amazing. However with Golden Sun The Lost Ages I feel like no time is truly passing greatly. Making me realize why its prequel Golden Sun was a great game to me. I guess what I'm trying to say is that Golden Sun is just a game that grows with you through its story. Though I'm making these statements about Golden Sun The Lost Ages before I beat the game (and I hope I'm wrong) I don't fell like I will enjoy it as much as the other. This doesn't mean I won't be enjoying the third installment of Golden Sun when or if it comes out some time this year. |
