Hey, so you know how I linked to the
Order of the Stick reprint Kickstarter project a few days ago? Well, it's really close to breaking into the top 10 Kickstarter projects
ever, in any category, for money raised. And it's done that in 9 days. The thing is
taking off, and at the rate it's going it will be firmly lodged in the top 10 Kickstarts for a long time. It's gone from being just another fundraising project, to a piece of Kickstarter
history. It's even gotten
media attention.
I feel compelled to help publicize this thing. If you're familiar with the
comic at all, you know that it's very funny and very nerd-oriented, what with being kind of based in Dungeons and Dragons. If you're not familiar with it, well, I just linked to it, so go check it out. I promise if you have any kind of affection for tabletop gaming you'll
love it, and even if you don't, most of the humour is transferable, so it'll probably still be really funny.
And then go to Kickstarter and make yourself part of history. It's a fantastic project in support of a fantastic comic. It's breaking all kinds of speed records on Kickstarter. It's basically guaranteed to be in the top 10 Kickstarts of all time by the end of tomorrow, and it's only up from there. First one to reach a million dollars? Who knows; there's still time. Hell, in the time it took me to write this it raised another $800. The sky's the limit, and believe me when I say that even if you don't know it, this is something you
want to do.
