The Last Few Months

It sure has been an exciting, yet sad, past few months. My nephew Orion ELE Barton was born on March 2nd! He's so adorable! Kyle, Jennifer, and Orion will be coming up to Missouri in the summer.

Sadly on March 3rd my grandma died. We weren't very close, but of course, it was difficult.

Other than that REALLY crappy week, things have been alright. I just finished working my first week on overnights. I'm helping out the North Ames Walmart for an eleven week remodel. It certainly is a change. The best part is that Walmart wants to pay me mileage from store to store. 88 miles round trip. That's .3 miles different from my house to their store and back. Other than that REALLY crappy week, things have been alright. I just finished working my first week on overnights. I'm helping out the North Ames Walmart for an eleven week remodel. It certainly is a change. The best part is that Walmart wants to pay me mileage from store to store. 88 miles round trip. That's .3 miles different from my house to their store and back. What they wanted to do was measure from my house to my store, then my house to their store. 39 miles round trip difference. They pay 55.5 cents per mile. Holy fuck did they fuck up in my favor. So now I get $244 in cash every Friday. I only need 50 bucks to fill up my tank for a week.

So when this remodel ends (May 31st{yes, one day AFTER my bday}) I will be going camping for three days in June. As of last year, my birthday will be the big summer camp out. Perfect time and weather, why not?

I set a summer goal for myself. Skydiving. $200 and it's 25 minutes away. YES.
