Gamers Rapport Leaderboards
Hey everyone (well, those of you that pay attention to my journal, anyway!),
As you may well know, I've been doing a leaderboard for the Gamers Rapport group that's been keeping track of everyone's gamerscore and how much their gamerscore has increased.
It is, with some degree of regret, that I will not be posting any more leaderboard updates on Gamers Rapport. 'Why?' I hear you ask. Well, real life has taken a bit of a turn for the ridiculously busy of late; I've also been taking a bit more of an active role over at Sarcastic Gamer. So, to cut to the chase, I can't really find the time to do the leaderboards.
The way that I've had to do it - as there's no easy database to directly query - is to manually cut and paste the scores from MyGamerCard.net, reformat it, dump it into Excel, re-arrange the data to take account of new people, and then export it in a format for posting here.
So, and admittedly this may be due to my lack of technical prowess, it's a relatively laborious process that's become increasingly so as the size of the leaderboard has grown.
Although there won't be any more updates here, the Gamers Rapport leaderboard will continue to amble on over at MyGamerCard.net - which you can find by clicking here.
