Hey, did you hear already about tonights Monday night lunar eclipse, it is supposed to be a full eclipse of the moon, I am not totally sure when it is supposed to be visible for all of us here in the central time zone, but I think it is supposed to begin around 11pm "approx" first the moon will turn sort of orange and then go black, and it will be a long time before it comes back out again, it will be cool.

True, but it was a Highland identity not a Scottish identity. The Lowlanders did not support the Jocobites. They supported the government. The claim it was an English vs Scottish battle is just plain wrong. link Post edited 7/21/10 7:17PM

Does not change the fact it was Hanovarian vs Jackobite, not Scotland Vs England. The entire battle of Preston Pans was fought between 2 Scottish armies. The battle of Culloden was fought between 2 UK armies. There where also English troops on the Jackobite side. Not a Scotland vs England battle. They are very few are far between.

More Scots fought for Cumberland than for Bonnie Prince Charlie. It was a UK civil war.

On the Culloden issue. Are you really gonna claim the Royal Scots where English? I think you will find it was a rebellion for the BRITISH throne. Had nothing to do with England and Scotland. If you wanted to bring up a battle you should have said Flodden in 1513. But you never beat Scotland, not once did England ever conquer Scotland and it was a Scotsman who united the crowns.
