First Journal?Hi everyone, whoever may have stumbled upon my profile, I'm Brian! I have been active on this site for nearly two years now, and not a single journal has been posted. For the past few years in high school, I have been watching my friends slowly become people I don't want to know anymore, getting high, experimenting with different drugs, and hooking up with random girls does not sound like the people I once was so close to.

First Journal?Hi everyone, whoever may have stumbled upon my profile, I'm Brian! I have been active on this site for nearly two years now, and not a single journal has been posted. For the past few years in high school, I have been watching my friends slowly become people I don't want to know anymore, getting high, experimenting with different drugs, and hooking up with random girls does not sound like the people I once was so close to.
anywho, in that whole experience of me losing my friends, I went outside less and less, and began gaming and started loving the gaming culture more and more! As sad as it sounds, I remember just watching an Achievement Hunter guide in Mafia 2, and wondering how Jack and Geoff make all these videos, I mean don't they have jobs? I wanted to know more about Achievement Hunter! So of course I found myself on google images looking up "Jack and Geoff in person" and sure enough, there they were, a fat dude with a beard, and a dude with tattoo sleeves who probably woke up 5 minutes ago, but what is this AHWU thing i keep seeing on the pictures? after extensive googling and youtubing like a moron, I was watching every AHWU from episode 1 and I fucking love these guys, I couldn't believe they got paid to do this. After watching just about every AHWU, and every achievement guide I could find, sometimes for games I don't even have, Jack and Geoff could make me laugh regardless, I wanted to find more from these guys, I decided to visit their site and see if there was anything else to make me laugh and brighten up my day, sure enough, apparently they work for these guys called Rooster Teeth? I thought I'd take a look around Rooster Teeth and see if I could find Jack or Geoff in any of these "RT Shorts" things, sure I found Jack and Geoff in some, but I also found pure comedy, and enjoyment, WHERE HAS ROOSTER TEETH BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!?!?!? I asked myself as I began to get familiar with all the amazing people that produce all this content for us, there was Burnie, Matt, Joel,Gus, Geoff, Griffon, Monty, Jack, Nathan, Gavin, Ben, Brandon, and this new intern guy at the time, Kerry. It's weird how Red vs. Blue wasn't the reason I discovered RT, sure I watched a few episodes, I could never get too into it as a series, but I enjoyed the comedy, and the idea of Machinima. That's how I discovered Rooster Teeth! If your still reading at this point, please stick around for more! I mean why the hell not? Your already this far.
In the summer, when just about everyone my age was at the beach, being teenagers, I was downloading tons of episodes of the Drunk tank to listen to for the 3rd time while riding my bike. I had become a member of the twitterverse as well, following community members at the time like
Ray,
Michael,
Fragger,
Dazzleshine, and
Mike. *side note!* I found it so odd that I was such a huge fan of
LtMkilla's youtube channel, and such a huge fan of his let's plays and his "I fucking hate you" comedy style, I was thinking what a great idea it would be if this guy could work with Rooster Teeth, or Achievement Hunter, and sure enough, Rage Quit was born. (I TOTALLY INVENTED RAGE QUIT) *end side note* I wasn't much of a tweeter so to speak, but I would wait for tweets from BrownMan about having open parties for anyone to join and chat! I was star struck most of the time, but I tried to be calm and funny for the most part, I guess it worked because I ended up on BrownMan and Michael's xbox friend list! :D You don't know the joy I had watching an Achievement Hunter video and seeing BriannnnM pop up as online! It also lead me to discover AHTV streams, Wednesdays could never be better. Twitter also got me into a few Achievement Hunter Nazi Zombie easter egg guides, I helped Ray out with the Shangri-La easter egg, The Moon easter egg, (iiiiiiiiiiiii

!) and finally the "One Giant leap" achievement (I still dont have that damn achievement,
Ray) and the xbox friend requests poured in, I felt so popular even though all I did was respond to a tweet and hop on Black Ops, "DO YOU WORK FOR RT?" "DO YOU KNOW JACK AND GEOFF?" "I CAN HAS JOB?" I would receive constantly, well, I still do actually, but I somewhat enjoy it :)
"What happened from then to now?" you might ask, "That was last summer, what about now?" well, I won't go into detail, but I got a girlfriend in September, most of my life faded away temporarily, including my nerdy side, and it was all about her. 6 months later, I'm back, I was dumped, but I'm back :P I'm still not quite over it yet, but just re-watching RT shorts, and catching up on podcasts, just brings a smile to my face, and is helping me become the nerd I once was again, Thank you so much to Rooster Teeth, Achievement Hunter, and the wonderful community who has been unknowingly helping me through this, and making me a better person all around :) There is so much I missed, but I'm done typing for now! Thank you so much everyone! (To the .5 people who will read this)
