Amazing to think it's already been a decade since the terrorist attacks here on US soil that involved the use of our own airliners. Just as amazing that we've been in a state of war for the same amount of time. Nevertheless, it was a dark day in US history that we shall never forget. Over three thousand innocent lives were lost in the attacks on that day; and now every year after, we have a day of remembrance on the anniversary of September 11, 2001, more commonly known as 9/11.
Never forget the tragedy that took place that day, or the heroes involved from that day to the present.
