27 year-old male from The H-Wood, California I've always loved Red vs Blue. I'm here because I can understand and appreciate that need to tell stories through whatever medium you are able - I used to "cut" together scenes from video games and play music over it from my good ol' PSOne onto the VCR. Yeah, that is a very crude method of editing, but when you have that need, you just find whatever way is possible.
I think RT is pretty awesome for bringing this admittedly dorky tendency into a fully formed narrative art, one that's pretty inspirational for would-be filmmakers. It's just great to be a part of this community with a common love for gaming, filmmaking, etc. | Latest Post | |

For the Chronically Bored Go check this site out, it's too awesome to pass up, ha ha! If you're in need for quick, out-of-context banter, there's no better place.
Texts from Last Night
Some quick samples:(314): First night home from college and I already forgot that walking around nearly naked with my laptop open to smut porn isn't acceptable. Sorry, mom. (703): The cop didn't care that I was peeing on the wall of my dorm building... All he said was, "come on, it's 9am." (925): i just had a dream that i could control how black Will Smith was with a remote.i need to stop sleeping with the TV on (626): and that's why we call him explosion in my pants. no one remembers his real name. Take it easy, ya'll.

Ahh man that's a toughie. All kinds. I guess it depends on my mood so anything from jazz and classical to techno ambient new age hip hop Asian pop to some more obscure sound art and "ethnic" music. Yeah probably anything as long as I can listen to it and find some purpose in it for myself. Recommendations are always welcome especially if you know some fairly unknown artist - chances are I don't know them but would love to have a listen.............................A relevant side-note though - I'm looking forward to seeing Utada Hikaru possibly in a few weeks and gush like the blushing schoolboy that I am. Must make sure I can hold onto my motor functions long enough to take a picture with her and get her to sign my collection of CDs and DVDs. | | Movies |
Yeah this is tough too. This is gonna change alot actually. Rather here's the question: If you were stuck on a desert island and could choose three films that you'd get to watch forever and ever (yeah somehow; I guess projected in the trees or something I don't know ha ha) what would they be? I honestly have no good answer for that. I like old samurai films. I like new films with great CGI. From old silent films to whatever's out today (I'm not a film fiend though; it's kind of ridiculous how few films I actually go out to see in the theatre considering how I'm a film student... hoo boy)...................................................................

Nothing at the moment too busy with projects and such but I'm looking forward to really digging into House The Wire getting more Star Trek the Next Generation X-Files huuuhh.... not sure what else. | | Books |
I like a good number of graphic novels and comic series some classics like Wuthering Heights and To Kill a Mockingbird (that IS a classic yes?) Sherlock Holmes is great. I'm also a fan of sci-fi and short stories but sadly I don't have too many anthologies or collected volumes at the moment. I think I need to go get some Ray Bradbury collection one of these days. Countless inspiration buried in there. I also have a stack of books I plan to read once my term this year is up including: The Minpins (illustrated Roald Dahl) The Making of Modern Japan (historical text) Queen & Country (graphic novel by Greg Rucka) trying to finish The Visual Story (text on visual storytelling including film and other media). |
