great way to finish a week
So this week started out fairly well. Got the three days off from work i requested and hung out with a friend Tuesday-Friday. Then on Friday, I received my paycheck, $405.99. not bad for 2 weeks and still being in high school. Was also introduced to a band called Pendulum by my friend. And then tonight. This really made my week. Yea besides the fact that the Old Republic Trailer was so badass and such, I think for me this trumps all. When I walked into work tonight, my boss and the owner of the restaurant where I work, John, asked to speak with me in his office. I thought i was in trouble but in fact it was far from it. I got a 50 cent pay raise, which puts me at $9 an hour, and was told that it was a pleasure for me to work there and that he really enjoys all the great things the waitstaff have to say about me. I've been working there two years and he has said the same thing over and over again, but tonight, it was different. I could tell that he really meant it and that he was really proud of me. Anyways, so thats my week so far. next week i go looking for a car, work more, look at colleges and probably just relax a bit. Summer is going by way too fast for me though. i have so much to do in so little time. **Side note** So Ben, if you need to talk to me about the splinter team for grifball, just let me know whenever and i will get back to you asap about it.
